What’s So Special About Cruising in a Small Ship
Ever notice the difference between passions and likes?
You might like football but love the Dolphins. You liked rock and roll music as a kid but you were absolutely nuts about the Beatles.
That’s sort of the story of this site. My wife and I love to travel. You should like all kinds of travel – cruises, tours, and vacations on the beach. You like them all so much that we opened a travel agency 10 years ago.
Cruising is especially nice but, if cruising were football, small ship cruising would be the Dolphins.
You read different numbers but it is generally accepted that only 20% of the US population has been on a cruise of any kind. The majority of the group that has cruised couldn’t tell you the difference between the cruise they were on and a small ship cruise.
Well, on this site, your aim to fix that
First, by clicking Cruise Comparison you will get an overview of cruising and how small ship cruising differs from large ship cruising.
Next, you can click Cruise Experiences to get a better understanding of the variety that awaits the small ship cruiser.
Now you are ready to explore Costs, Cruise Lines, and the rest of the site.
I would suggest that you identify an area of the world that interests you. By clicking on a destination (or a special category such as Sailing Ships, Expeditions, or Luxury Cruises) you will get to see which small ship cruise lines sail that area. Then you can follow the information on the company itself, the ships it operates, and, most importantly, the itineraries for the various cruises.
The itineraries are the best way to put you on that ship. What will your experience really be like?
If you have questions or are ready to book a cruise, please, give us a call or send an e-mail. If you find the idea interesting but you aren’t ready to sail right now, sign up for the free newsletter. It is packed with specials, news, and tips about small ship cruising and other information to keep you up-to-date on this little corner of the travel market.
